What am I covered for with third party fire and theft car insurance?

If you have third party, fire & theft insurance, you're covered if your car is stolen, damaged as a result of attempted theft, theft of parts or damaged by fire. You're also covered for injury and damage claims made against you by anyone else involved.

Unlike comprehensive insurance, it doesn't cover you for accidental damage or vandalism to your own car. This means that your car isn't covered for repairs or replacement after an accident.
