What does your Uninsured Driver Promise mean?

If you’ve had an accident involving an uninsured driver and it wasn’t your fault, we won’t reduce your No Claims Discount and will refund your policy excess.

You just need to provide us with:

  • The vehicle make, model and registration number of the uninsured driver’s car that caused the damage
  • Their name and address

It’s important to note that you could be required to pay your excess and temporarily lose your No Claims Discount until we’re satisfied that the accident wasn’t your fault and the other driver was uninsured.
