What is the difference between a courtesy car and Hire Car?

A 1ST CENTRAL comprehensive policy includes a courtesy car as standard. A courtesy car will be available to you if your car is being repaired with one of our approved repairers (subject to availability) following a claim.

If your car's a write off (where your car is deemed beyond economical repair following an accident or theft) you won't be supplied with a courtesy car.
