Who can drive the hire car?

Any driver named on your Certificate of Insurance for the insured vehicle can drive the hire car if they have held a full UK driving license for over 12 months and must be over 18 years old.

How many times can I use this cover in a year?

You can make a maximum of two claims in any one period of insurance.

Are there any time limits for making a claim?

Yes, you must report your claim within 14 days of the incident to be eligible for cover.

Are there any limits on how long I can keep the hire car?

Yes, you can use the hire car for up to 28 days in a row for each incident, or until 48 hours after your claim payment is made - whichever happens first.

Does the policy cover theft or vandalism?

Yes. If your car is stolen and not found, or stolen and then recovered, or if it’s vandalised or deliberately damaged and then written off, your cover will apply. You must report any theft, vandalism, or malicious damage to the police.
