I have sent in my car insurance documents. What happens next?
We will use the documents to validate the information you provided when you took out your policy. In most cases there will be no further action needed, and we will not contact you regarding this again. If we identify discrepancies in the information you supplied to obtain your policy we will contact you. This may mean that your original insurance premium was incorrect and you may be required to pay an additional premium, in addition to an administration fee. If we believe that information has been deliberately withheld or misrepresented when you obtained your insurance policy we will treat this as fraud. Find out how we tackle fraud.
