Is there a fee for changing my policy?
Most changes to your policy will include an administration fee of £30. Please note that due to a change made to our fees structure if you took out a new policy or renewed your policy before the 22nd June 2018 then this fee will be £15 online. We ask customers to check their details carefully when they set up a policy because if we have to make changes to your policy because of non-disclosure or misrepresentation there will be a charge of £50.
To make a change online, login to the Customer Portal and follow the links to make a change to your policy. To speak to one our customer service team, please call us on 0333 043 2066.
If you need to change your contact details or enhance your cover with optional extras you can do this online or via the customer service team for FREE. If you’ve just taken out a policy with 1st CENTRAL and you need to make a change before the policy start date, no fee will apply but you need to speak to our customer service team to make the change.
Making changes to your policy may affect your premium, it can go up or down depending on the details of the change.
