Is there a cooling off period for my car insurance?
Yes. There's a 14-day 'cooling off' period from the start date of your policy, provided no claim has been made and you've not been involved in an incident which might give rise to a claim under the policy.
If you decide to cancel your policy within the 'cooling off' period, the cancellation fee won't be applied.
The cancellation fee will apply after 14 days from the start date of your policy.
We may also retain the non refundable arrangement fee as per policy terms, even if the policy has not yet started or is within the 14-day 'cooling off' period.
