Is there a cooling off period for my car insurance?

Yes, there's a 14-day 'cooling off' period from the start date of your policy, provided no claim has been made and you've not been involved in an incident.

Cancellation fee

If you decide to cancel your policy within the 'cooling off' period, the cancellation fee won't be applied.

The cancellation fee will apply after 14 days from the start date of your policy.

Arrangement fee

If your policy is cancelled before it starts or within 14 days of its start date, a £25 may be applicable to cover our costs. 

If your policy is cancelled after 14 days of your policy start date, the full £50 arrangement fee won’t be refunded.

My policy has renewed and I want to cancel, what do I do?

You can still cancel your policy after it has renewed by following the steps below.

I’m looking to switch my auto renewal off, what do I do?

If you want to switch your auto renewal off or are looking for any further information around your renewal, you can do this easily and quickly online at any time.

  1. Log in to Your Account
  2.  Select Account Settings at the top right-hand corner of your Dashboard screen
  3. At the bottom of the page, select Manage Renewal Settings
  4. You’ll be able to manage your auto renewal here

Cancelling your policy online

If you'd like to cancel your policy, you can do this online. 

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Your Account
  2. You'll land on the Your Policy page where you can view and manage your policy
  3. Scroll to I'd like to cancel my insurance, and choose Cancel my insurance
