My driving licence is registered to a different address from that's on my policy. What should I do?

If you’ve been asked to provide your driving licence as part of our validation process.

You should still provide us with a copy of your licence. Also, you should provide one of the following documents as proof of your policy address. We'll let you know if we need anything further.

  • UK-based bank or building society statement (must be less than 3 months old) please fully hide any card/account number before uploading this
  • UK gas or electricity bill (must be less than 3 months old)
  • UK phone or broadband bill (not mobile; must be less than 3 months old)
  • UK mortgage statement (must be less than 12 months old)
  • UK council tax bill (must be less than 12 months old)
  • UK water bill (must be less than 12 months old)
  • Letter from Benefits Agency, including Universal Credit welcome letters (must be less than 12 months old)
  • Benefit letter from your local housing authority (must be less than 12 months old)
  • Tenancy agreement from a housing association or a council (must be less than 12 months old)
  • Letter from a university or college (must be less than 12 months old)
How to upload documents to Your Account:
  • Log in to Your Account
  • Click on ‘Documents’
  • Scroll down to ‘Information request’
  • Upload the document next to the relevant heading
