My driving licence is registered to a different address from that's on my policy. What should I do?
If you’ve been asked to provide your driving licence as part of our validation process.
You should still provide us with a copy of your licence. Also, you should provide one of the following documents as proof of your policy address. We'll let you know if we need anything further.
- UK-based bank or building society statement (must be less than 3 months old) please fully hide any card/account number before uploading this
- UK gas or electricity bill (must be less than 3 months old)
- UK phone or broadband bill (not mobile; must be less than 3 months old)
- UK mortgage statement (must be less than 12 months old)
- UK council tax bill (must be less than 12 months old)
- UK water bill (must be less than 12 months old)
- Letter from Benefits Agency, including Universal Credit welcome letters (must be less than 12 months old)
- Benefit letter from your local housing authority (must be less than 12 months old)
- Tenancy agreement from a housing association or a council (must be less than 12 months old)
- Letter from a university or college (must be less than 12 months old)
How to upload documents to Your Account:

- Click on ‘Documents’
- Scroll down to ‘Information request’
- Upload the document next to the relevant heading
