My car insurance policy has been cancelled. What happens next?

Following the cancellation of your policy, we’ll calculate whether you’re due a refund or if there’s any remaining balance to be paid based on your payments to date and your cover period.

Refunds will be processed automatically within 10 days following the cancellation of your policy. If we can, we’ll process the refund back to your original card. Failing that, we’ll send the monies back into your bank account or, if the first two options are not available, send you a cheque – we’ll be in touch to confirm.

Any outstanding balance can be paid online at 1stcentralinsurance.com/payment or by calling our Instalment Enquiries team who’ll be able to assist you.
