Can I use my own car repairer?

You can choose your own repairer to complete the repairs to your car but if you do, we won’t be able to provide a courtesy car.

We cannot guarantee the repairs so we’ll be unable to help if anything goes wrong and you may be required to pay an additional excess.

If you need to use your own repairer due to your vehicle warranty, our repairs network includes manufacturer approved repairers so it’s highly likely we’ll be able to help with this. Please let us know and we’ll discuss your options with you.

A non-approved repairer excess of £250 will be charged (in addition to any excesses shown on your Schedule of Motor Insurance) if you do not use one of our approved garaged for repairs when you make a claim.
