How long do I have to report a car claim?

You need to report an incident within 48 hours, however, try to call us from the scene of the incident if it's safe to do so. If not, try to call us within 24 hours to avoid delays. This will create a more straightforward claim for you.

If you've been involved in an incident but you're not sure you want to claim, you'll still need to let us know. We'll be able to talk you through your options and keep you up to date with any claim we may receive if there was someone else involved.
