How long does it take to settle a total loss claim?

If your vehicle has been deemed a total loss, we’ll look to settle the payment of your vehicle as soon as possible, whether that involves dealing with yourself directly or speaking to your finance company with your permission.

Once the vehicle value has been agreed, we can look to raise payment, which should enter your account within 3-5 working days.

In some instances, we may issue payment via cheque, including payments to your finance company where required. These will typically be received in around 5 working days from when we’ve confirmed the payment has been issued.
