Who will reimburse my car insurance excess?

If the accident isn’t your fault, the other insurance company will reimburse your excess. We’ll contact them and let you know once they’ve confirmed their driver has accepted responsibility for the accident.

We may reimburse your policy excess if you have an accident with an uninsured driver.

You may have opted to purchase Excess Protect Cover when you bought or renewed your policy, in which case, you’ll be able to claim back all or part of your excess. You can check to see if you have this cover online.
